Our programs & services are available to all. We specifically target families impacted by limited English proficiency. Many of those we serve are immigrants/refugees. Our staff & volunteers are multilingual in Burmese, Cantonese, Hmong, Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, and English.

Our social & civic engagement activities are designed for seniors, ages 55 and older, but we warmly welcome adults of all ages to join us for our activities. Please see our activity calendar for specific dates.
Healthcare Navigation & Access

We partner with APAMSA to offer free preventative health screenings (BMI, blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, skin cancer, vision, dental, etc.) through 2-3 health fairs per year.

Monthly health seminars including topics such as Medicare, Top 10 Heath Conditions Impacting Asian Americans, Vitamins & Supplements, Dental Health, and more.

Our staff can issue AccessKC vouchers to low-income individuals that cover 100% of costs for emergency medical services If you need have an urgent medical need, please call us at 913-600-3728 to set up a voucher appointment to see if you qualify.

Aging services navigation: Please call us at 913-600-3728 if you or your family member need help accessing aging services, Alzheimer's/dementia support, caregiving support, etc.

Our staff will gladly help adults of all ages get connected to the resources they need to live healthy and fulfilling lives. You do not need to be a senior to receive free preventative health screenings, attend our health seminars, or receive healthcare, aging, or community resource navigation services.

Mental Health Supports

Mental health seminars covering topics including managing emotions, stress reduction, active listening skills, conflict resolution, seasonal affective disorder, how to support loved ones through mental health challenges, etc.

Mental Heath First Aid for Adults is an evidence-based, early-intervention course that teaches participants about mental health and substance use challenges. We have staff certified to teach this course.

Affordable therapy/counseling Through grant funding support, we are able to connect adults of all ages to sliding-scale affordable therapy/counseling with partnering licensed therapists & counselors.
